Michael Cohan, President, Principal, and Founder

Michael has over 40 years of experience in developing real estate. He has been directly responsible for major residential, commercial, and industrial projects totaling over $750 million in new investment. Mr. Cohan received his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and City Planning from Rutgers University and continued on to receive his Master’s Degree in Public Administration, Planning and Social Policy from Harvard University. Michael’s previous experience includes Chief Executive Officer/President of the Elizabeth Development Company in addition to serving as the former Executive Director of the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority. In addition to being a Licensed Real Estate Broker in the state of New Jersey, Mr. Cohan is a licensed builder. His current affiliations include: Member, Cape Atlantic Board of Realtors; Greater Atlantic City Chamber of Commerce, International Economic Development Council, National Association of Realtors; New Jersey Association of Realtors; Designated Realtor, The Atlantic City, County Board of Realtors; Southern Jersey Shore Regional Multiple Listing Service and Urban Land Institute (ULI).

Nicholas Faulhaber, Senior Vice President of Finance and Controller

Nick handles the day to day operations and assists in the strategic planning of the company and its various affiliates. He also works hand in hand with all Asset Managers and Project Managers providing them with the most accurate financial information on all of their projects. Mr. Faulhaber also assists in the evaluation of potential and currently owned real estate projects for both acquisition and sale. He has over 34 years of experience with New Vistas Corporation. Mr. Faulhaber received his Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Management from Stockton University in Galloway, NJ. He is also a New Jersey Licensed Real Estate Salesperson.

Brian McMillen, Senior Vice President of Construction

Brian has a professional background of more than 40 years of diversified experience in all facets of construction and property management. He has been delivering quality construction management and superior job performance for New Vistas Corporation since 1992 and is a licensed builder in the state of New Jersey. Brian manages and oversees all facets of construction ranging from new development to commercial and residential remodeling. Currently, Brian oversees several major projects including which including commercial tenant space fitout and several condominium capital improvement programs. He also manages two commercial buildings and a condominium complex in South Jersey.

Caron Wells, Vice President of Property Management

Caron utilizes a variety of construction and management experience to provide comprehensive oversight to multiple properties ranging from duplexes to townhome communities to high rises.  Caron has over 20 years of experience in managing a construction/demolition company.  In addition to 5 years as part of a leasing team which at the time was California’s second largest property management firm.  Caron works closely with Board members to reduce their operational costs and increase annual revenues through strategic incentives while helping Associations achieve maximum income and appreciation of their community values.  Caron has been with New Vistas Corporation for over 15 years and is an official notary public in the State of New Jersey.

Michelle Ruggles, Property Manager and Licensed Real Estate Agent, New Jersey

Michelle has over 20 years of experience in real estate that encompasses both residential and commercial markets. She successfully navigates various types of transactions, from market-rate leases to complex third-party sales, including foreclosures. This versatility has allowed her to build a comprehensive understanding of market trends, property valuations, and negotiation strategies. Michelle currently manages two commercial office buildings that total over 100,000 square feet.

Alex Nava, Licensed Real Estate Agent, New Jersey
